1What kind of services does PursueCareRx provide?

PursueCareRx is not your typical pharmacy. We are a full-service pharmacy specializing in the treatment for those who suffer from addiction. We offer free delivery, support for insurance coverage, prior authorization support, 24/7 customer support, coordination services with specialty nursing, translational services and many more benefits that allow better outcomes for patients.

2How does adherence-tracking work?

Our expert pharmacist staff pays close attention to any discrepancies in a patient’s ordering or medication usage. We will alert you and your patient if we believe there may be a problem with your patient’s medication therapy. This process leads to patients achieving better care and thus leading to better outcomes.

3My patient would like to switch mail order pharmacy provider and start using PursueCareRx, what is the process?

If you have not used our services prior please call our toll-free number, 1-888-644-8326 or email us at info@comprecarerx.com as we require full vetting of your licenses to prescribe Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT) drugs from our Compliance Pharmacist. If you are not a MAT prescriber and have a patient interested in using us, you can move on to the below paragraph.

Upon vetting of your practice and license, you may send us a script via e-scribe system, fax, or by telephone. We are listed in the e-scribe system as PursueCareRx as either retail or mail order. If you are prescribing buprenorphine monotherapy, we require an attestation stating why the use of monotherapy which can be found under the providers tab as “Compliance Attestation Form” prior to the patient receiving their prescription. Once completed click submit and it will be delivered to us securely. Faxing the form is optional- just give us a call and we can send you a copy for your use.

Once you have sent a prescription to our pharmacy, please have your patient give us a call to set up their information and let us acquire all the compliance documentation and identity proofing we need to mail them their prescriptions.

4Is PursueCareRx listed on the E-scribe System?

PursueCareRx is able to receive e-prescriptions. We are listed in the E-scribe System as PursueCareRx as either retail or mail order.

5How can PursueCareRx help with prior authorizations?

PursueCareRx’s team can assist with collected relevant information to submitted prior authorization requests for your patient’s insurance company. We may need your assistance with some plans as we cannot submit the final piece, however, we will work to fax over a request if we cannot complete on our own allowing some of the burden to be lifted from your shoulders.

6What are your hours of operation?

PursueCareRx’s regular pharmacy hours are Monday-Friday 8:30am-5:00pm.

Addiction Recovery and Anti-Diversion

At PursueCareRx, we follow rigorous standards to ensure accurate medication dispensing and prevention of diversion of prescription medications.

Our role is to not only safely dispense medications used in medication-assisted treatment but to also advise prescribers and patients on safe and effective treatment regimens.

We encourage all prescribers to prescribe Naloxone to all patients being treated for Opioid Use Disorder per American Society of Addiction Medicine (ASAM) guidelines and the U.S. Surgeon General’s advisory.

As recommended by ASAM practice guidelines, we encourage prescribers to prescribe buprenorphine-naloxone combination formulations (e.g. Suboxone®) versus buprenorphine-only formulations (e.g. Subutex®) whenever clinically indicated.
